Well the fleet continues to grow. I just acquired a '38 Clipped Wing Cub. Very complete and other than wings and engine (A-50-1 swapped for A-65-8), very original. It's been in a barn since the mid 60's.

The original data plate is in poor condition, still readable, but ugly. How can I restore it with our damaging it further? I think I'm mainly dealing with corrosion removal, but unsure of how to leave the underlying black background paint intact.
