I recently swapped my oil temp gauge(C85-12 engine), I noticed the oil temp fitting to the engine "boss" doesn't put pressure on the temp probe.

To clarify, the probe base is larger than the opening. Attached are some pictures to help. Is there a bushing missing? The airplane has been run about fifty hours with no oil loss but this is just not right.
