This was just posted in the SuperCub.Org newsletter. Anybody got additional information?
The Cub Club Has New Caretakers!
I think this statement directly from them sums it up beautifully!
Many of us believe that no one truly owns a classic aircraft. We are merely caretakers of it during our time until it is passed on to another. The same can be said of organizations. The Cub Club has had many caretakers, each doing their best to preserve and promote the restoration, maintenance and flying of the long-wing fabric Piper Cubs. The time has come once again to pass the baton. We are truly pleased to have been chosen to carry on the tradition of the Cub Club, Luscombe Association, Taylorcraft Owners Club and Cub Air Flight where old school is still cool. Dana has worked with Steve and Sharon Krog for the past three years learning the ins and outs of these wonderful aircraft. Many of you may have already talked to Dana on the phone. Dana and I plan to continue the tradition of providing excellent technical support and information through our network of members and experts. We will continue to train pilots through Cub Air Flight using the J3 as our primary trainer. We are excited and honored to be part of yet another chapter of aviation and hope to carry on the past to the future - Paul and Dana Osmanski
We wish them the very best! Keep an eye on the Cub Club website which will also be seeing major changes soon! www.cubclub.org
