Greetings to all. I'm new to this place, & after hours of reading hundreds of posts on this forum have found it to be an awesome place of learning.

Perhaps I will be setting some kind of record here: I'm 70 years old and am just now in the process of getting my tail wheel endorsement. Last month I bought a 1946 J3-C with an A-65-8 engine. The last time I flew a J-3 was in 1966. I fly out of an airport here in Colorado with an elevation of 7,600 ft. Maybe I made a mistake with the A-65...only time will tell I guess.

Here's my question: For cross-wind landings....which is the "correct" way to do them? Three-point landing or wheel landing? I would hate to shorten my days of flying by picking the wrong option when that windy day comes around.

Thanks in advance

Rich
