What's the easiest way to replace the copper line going to the oil pressure gauge? Do I just work upside down in the front seat? Or is there an easier way?

I want to replace the current flexible hose with the proper 71061 part. Currently it has an AN4 flex hose coupled to an AN823 on the engine, They have a female AN4 on the copper line with an AN4 union. The the 71061 is shorter than the current flex hose and won't reach the copper line. The copper line would be even shorter if I cut it and use the proper flare fitting so I need to replace the copper line.
