This antenna mast came off a WWII C-45 and is constructed of very thin walled stainless tubing. It weighs about 8 to 10 ounces. Overall height is 9 inches and it is 1 1/4 inches wide.

The thin stainless base has six mounting holes and the top of the antenna has a thin stainless welded tab with two holes for antenna attachment. Apparently several different model mast antennas were used on the L-4s of different heights. I hope you enjoy the photos , The Ft. Sill photo was originally posted by John with great detail.
