Never paid much attention. I make sure my registration and airworthiness are both visible and press on.

Ellis Cub just got annualed, and the IA asked me about the xerox copy of the AW Cert. I glanced at it - it looked real! Nope - Color xerox. And registration was behind it, out of sight.

So two questions:

1. Can the Airworthiness Cert. be a copy?

2. Is it necessary to display the Registration so it can be seen?

18 landings today, too lazy to look it up. I just know you guys have the answer.
