Went to a really nice catfish dinner fly-in today. Weather was severe clear, a little cool, mild to brisk wind (about 10-15 kts), 2500 foot grass strip with slight slope (about 1% to 3% grade). There was a good turnout of planes, a Stearman, J3, Piper Clipper, F1 Rocket, Cessna 140, AirCam, 2 Merlins, 2 Kitfoxes, and a Skylane. Taildraggers outnumbered nosedraggers by about 10 to 1, which is typical in this neck of the woods. I ate too much, but that's the whole purpose of these things....
