Yesterday morning wife and I cruising along, in loose formation with similar Cub, on our way to the big fly-in at 97FL. After about an hour, Sure’nuf . . . slow rpm drop. Cruising at 1,800 MSL, high humidity and I’d guess OAT about 74f. Carb heat fixed it right quick. C85-12 / Stromberg NA-S3 cruising with 2,250 RPM.
Been operating big bore fuel injected Continentals for so long for a living . . . almost forgot what it was like<grin>.

Perfect weather and a huge turnout for the Love's field fly-in. Six or seven Cubs and a whole mess of other airplanes. We really enjoyed it.

Regards,
Tom Charlton
