I’m building up a few small continental engines, at least one of which will be experimental, and am stlll researching camshaft data. I have good data on the O-200-A and C-85 cams but would like to get a profile for a low overlap C90 cam. Based on the specs, I think i can guess what it is from the C85 and O200 profiles, but i would like to be sure. does anyone have a red tagged c90 cam they don’t need?
Also curious about the O-200-D spec engine. very little info on the details of it except it’s a lightened -A. cam is a different part number since it’s hollow, but i wonder what the lift profile is compared to the -A spec. anyone know? the power curves on this engine are a little surprising given it has higher compression than the -A engine but makes same power at 2750. doesn’t look like apples to apples comparison unless they did something to reduce power.
thanks
