I am in the process to overhaul my C85-12F. Several years ago I disassembled the engine and found out that the cylinders where not inte mood to be reused. Nevertheless, during the years I have been able to buy some extra engine parts. One O200 in parts, one A65 in parts and in addition several O200 spare parts.
Since the C85 was built by an engine shop, I assume that all parts are correct, even if the serial number on the crank is grinded to unreadable status, see pics. And yes - now it will be an experimental engine.
I am aware of the possibility to combine different engine parts to gain extra power. Even if I never noticed any disadvantage with the normal C85 in my L4, now is the time before assembly. I have just bought new Millenium C85 cylinder kits, but some other parts might be changeable.
My main question is if it is possible to use the O200 crank in the C85. And also if any of the cam shafts from the O200 can be used. And if I use any O200 parts, do I need a STC?
Many thanks!
