I recently bought an 1942 J3 with Continental C85...
My question is about oil pressure in this engine (10 hrs SMOH) at startup, in my opinion is so high, these are the readings:
Outside Temp: 70ºF
Startup (cold oil): 55 psi
Cruise: 28/32 psi - 100/120º F
Idle (warm oil): 10 psi
Any opinion ?
