Well, the point I alluded to in several previous posts on the kit builders thread has come to pass. I'm now at a standstill on my project due to lack of a complete build manual.

When I picked up the kit last Oct 8th, it didn't have any of the optional kit instructions. I was promised that they'd be waiting in my email when I got home.

They weren't. They couldn't be. They hadn't been written.

When I dropped off the airplane for paint in Jan, I was promised that the remaining instructions would be ready when I came back to pick up the airplane. They weren't. See above.

Near the end of Feb, I was finally able to talk to Kurt after an unsuccessful week of trying to get him to return phone calls. I told him that I'd be gone for 3 weeks at work, and needed the instructions when I got back on Mar 19th, as I was running out of things to build... Indeed I had been forging ahead in some areas without instructions, guessing, talking to Pat/Charlie, and getting instructions over the phone. Kurt promised the instructions would be in my hands when I got back... without fail.

I stopped by the factory today. No instructions. (no surprises, either)
Talked to Kurt: "Today's the 19th."
"Yeah."
"What now?"
"We need to get on it."

No promise of a new delivery date... Kinda pointless to make new promises at this stage, I guess.

I had hoped to be flying by the end of the summer. Guess I need to make other plans. At some point I'll decide to press on and cobble together the rest of the plane, by Zen if need be.

Best of luck, guys.
-Mike
