I had a friend in North Carolina install my Biplane Investment 10 gallon wing tank. The tank itself was a work of art and it was a shame to cover it up. I took off from a backyard turf field near EXX (Salisbury NC) and flew it a few miles to EXX to top off both tanks. Then I flew nonstop to WV59 (Fayetteville WV) with a slight headwind. When the fuel indicator stick got to the point it was bouncing around near the bottom of the tank I turned the switch/valve and it topped off my main tank. It is hard to get used to flying along and watching the stick rise rather than fall.
