I left my strip this morning at first light and watched the morning sun on my way up to Bennett Aiken's Mountain Air Park. The fog was on the Lakes and the leaves are just starting their fall colors. The Georgia Cub Flyers put five or six meets together every year and this was one of their best. The food was delicious and there were so many cobblers I couldn't count. A hundred people showed up with about twenty pilots. My only regret is that I didn't get seconds on that dutch oven blackberry cobbler. I flew home about 3:00 and the air was still smooth as morning. Can't beat that.
