My Legend Cub is an AL3 with the O-200 engine. The fuel consistently burns mostly from the right tank. I've switched the vented caps from right wing to left wing with little or no difference. I've carefully monitored and kept the ball centered in straight and level flight for periods of up to an hour with no difference. Today I pulled the fore and aft finger screens from the left tank and found zero contamination. Yesterday I did a 1:40 minute cross country flight; the fuel in the right tank was down to well below half before the left wing dropped below full. When I parked on the ramp the left tank was 3/4 full and the right tank was 1/4 full. After being parked for 2 hours the tanks had nearly evened out but the left tank showed slightly more fuel than did the right. Anybody with a Legend have similar experience? Anybody have any ideas? These tanks have free flow between them via lines that go from the aft tank finger screen outlets to a quick drain at the lowest point in the system which is located on the underside of the plane below the baggage area.
