I'm new to this forum so please excuse me if the post seems odd or not done correctly.

I'm helping a friend working on a J3 cub. The cub is a project started by another A&P that has passed away before he finished the project. The airplane has been recovered but the aileron cable holes have not been cut in the wings.

Best we can tell the fuselage was built back in the 40's. It has a new set of metal spar wings that appear to be brand new PMA parts.

Anyway, I've found a drawing for a PA18 that shows the hole locations but cannot find anything for a J3 like this one.

Does anybody have any information about the hole location or where to go find it?

Thanks

Chuck
