I recently purchased a 1946 J3 with an A75-8 engine overhauled 600 hrs ago by Lycon. The engine runs great but if the aircraft is not flown regularly the pump loses its prime and there's no oil pressure after start. The previous owner had rigged up a hoist in his hangar that lifted the tail a few feet in the air before starting. I don't want to do that for normal operations, so I had my IA remove the accessory case and oil pump and we gave it to Premiere Engine Shop in Troutdale, OR. Unfortunately, this magnesium case is not repairable, and the oil pump is not great either.

Does anyone have a serviceable case and oil pump they would like to sell or suggest where I might be able to find these parts?
