While reading some old threads I came across a discussion about the ACA 309.

I looked through the entire file I have from the FAA in hopes of finding it and found nothing. It could be in the logbooks and other docs but that is at the maintenance shop right now and so I can’t verify that.

I’m trying to get this old plane to a passable degree of legality with regards to documentation. I don’t want to sweat it if someone is poking around.

Is the 309 something that needs to be on board? How do I get a replacement if I can’t find the original? Will the TCDS also work? Any tips on fulfilling the Operating Handbooks/Placards/Limitations requirements for onboard data requirements would be appreciated!
