Nubie hear, not to Cubs in general, just the forum. I'm working with a group here in Dallas that is sponsoring a restoration for my High School Aviation Class. The Cub that we'll pick up next week is listed on the FAA site as a 1946 J-3C-75, I've never heard of a "C-75" and can't find anything beyond a 65. It does include a C-85-12F which will be a good engine for the project. It was a float plane most of its life (early 50s) and has been stored for a good many years... light corrosion on rear the frame, tail feathers are probably toast according to the inspection. But the price was right!!

Anybody have answer to this mystery ;-)

Bill
