On May 15, 1968, Alfred E. Werner, DPE climbed into the right seat of a one year old C150 I had rented for $13.00/hr and gave me a Private Pilot check ride which I did well enough on to cause him to say "ok kid, now go learn how to fly."

Today I celebrated by landing my Legend Cub at Lou Lufker's grass strip ( I WILL NOT tell you whether I did a wheel landing or 3 point) ;D

Then I walked across the street and got a meatloaf sandwich and a pepsi which I ate and drank sitting in the grass with the cub wheel as a backrest. Then I "propped" my airplane using the self commencer activated by the small silver key on the left wing root. (That was for Jim C ;D)

Flew back to the cement airport and put her away. Life is good.
