I own a 1942 Cliped Wing Cub that was restored from the ground up in 2010. The restoration ( airframe and engine) has roughly 310 hours on it since then. The plane is covered in heavy Stits fabric and sewn properly. It is painter white with blue accents. The fuselage was a former sea plane so there is a door, and hence great visibility, on both sides. C-85. PA-11 lift struts, tail feathers and landing gear. Gross weight is back to 1220 per approved STC. Empty weight is 775. Bradley Strut brackets are installed. Grove brakes. Metal prop. Tempest Fine wire plugs on the engine. No electric system. Handheld, intercom and external antenna are used for comm. Well maintained by two shops that know vintage and acro planes well. Only a few hours of very light acro flown on her by a pilot who flies a Pitts. $42K. Call Craig at 954-646-7555. The Cub is located outside Raleigh, NC.
