my airplane was on 1400's a while back. (85 hp J-3 with wing tanks...solo front or back). i think it flew well with them and had no concerns. i have read that the 1320's are "better" and the same thing for the 1400's. having never flown the 1320's i can't offer an opinion of them other than looks and the rigging. does anyone have the "facts" as to why one is superior to the other and also....are there a set of floats out there, for sale, ready to go on a J-3....1320's or 1400's. looking to put it back on floats :) thanks, Randy
